'The worst of all time': Donald Trump criticizes Time's 'extremely poor' cover picture.

This is a positive article in a periodical that the president has long exalted – but for one catch. The magazine's cover photo, Trump declared, ""could be the worst ever".

Time's tribute to the president's involvement in facilitating a ceasefire in Gaza, headlining its early November edition, was paired with a image of Trump taken from below and with the sun positioned behind him.

The effect, the president asserts, is "super bad".

"Time wrote a quite favorable story about me, but the photo may be the Worst of All Time", he shared on Truth Social.

“My hair was obscured, and then there was a shape over my head that appeared as a suspended diadem, but quite miniature. Really weird! I have consistently disliked being shot from underneath, but this is a super bad image, and it merits criticism. Why did they choose this, and why?”

Trump has made no secret of his desire to be pictured on the cover of Time and accomplished it multiple times in the past year. This fixation has extended to his golf courses – previously, the magazine asked him to remove mocked up covers shown in a few of his establishments.

The most recent cover image was shot by a photographer for Bloomberg at the White House on 5 October.

The perspective was unflattering to the president's jawline and throat – an opening that the governor of California Newsom took advantage of, with the governor's office posting a modified photo with the problematic part blurred.

{The hostages from Israel in Gaza have been released under the first phase of Donald Trump's peace plan, alongside a release of Palestinian detainees. The deal might turn into a major success of Trump's second term, and it might signify a strategic turning point for that part of the world.

Meanwhile, a support for his portrayal has been offered by a surprising origin: the communications chief at Russia’s ministry of foreign affairs came forward to criticise the "revealing" image choice.

It's amazing: a photograph says more about those who selected it than about the individual pictured. Only sick people, people driven by hatred and resentment –perhaps even perverts – could have chosen such a photo", the official shared on the messaging platform.

In light of the positive pictures of President Biden that the same publication featured on the front, notwithstanding his health issues, the situation is self-revealing for the magazine", she noted.

The explanation for the president's inquiries – why did they choose this, and why? – could be related to innovatively depicting a feeling of authority stated by a picture editor, a media professional.

"The actual photo itself is professionally taken," she explains. "They picked this image because they wanted the president to look commanding. Staring up at someone gives a sense of their importance and his expression actually looks contemplative and almost a bit ethereal. It’s not often you see photos of Trump in such a calm instance – the photo appears gentle."

Trump’s hair appears to “disappear” because the light from behind has washed out that area of the image, producing a glowing aura, she explains. Even though the story’s headline marries well with the president's look in the image, "it's impossible to satisfy the person photographed."

"No one likes being shot from underneath, and even if all of the thematic components of the image are highly effective, the aesthetics are not complimentary."

The news outlet contacted the periodical for feedback.
